CyTwist’s IP is based on an approach that was designed by our founder while thwarting terrorist attacks, an act that changed counter-terrorism intelligence operations efforts worldwide. Dr. Hadar Ron is the founding partner of Israel Healthcare Ventures Ltd. (IHCV), Israel’s prime Life Science Venture Capital. Dr. Ron has extensive medical, legal, and management experience gained in senior positions in the financial, insurance, legal, healthcare sectors. Dr. Ron serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Momentum Fund tech transfer of Tel Aviv University. Dr. Ron serves as an active chairman of several companies such as Supplant and GIView and as a board member of numerous medical companies. Dr. Ron is involved in many social and public initiatives in Israel, chairperson of Social Finance Israel, chairperson of the scientific advisory board of Social Impact Bond for the prevention of diabetes and Colon Cancer. She also supports young scientists and new immigrants. Dr. Ron acts as a Board Member of Friends of the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University as well as a member of Women Business Leaders (WBL) International

Nick is a highly experienced cybersecurity expert with a track record of success in helping clients effectively address cyber risks. He excels in refining and measuring controls and capabilities for cyber risk readiness, using a combination of systems thinking and logistical expertise to assist clients in considering the strategic business outcomes, technology supporting those goals, and the inherent cyber risks in the technology and processes used. He is well-versed in regulatory impact on cyber risks and incorporates considerations of value at risk when making decisions.

Nick helps companies assess their data value, volume, variety, variability, velocity and veracity to understand their data risk and revenue generation opportunities. He uses this approach to help companies identify their most valuable data assets, understand their risk exposures and develop strategies to protect and leverage their data.

Having helped companies of all sizes integrate risk disciplines into their business strategy through the use of probabilistic thinking, root cause analysis techniques and decision-making criteria including success criteria and stop criteria. He has held various senior security and technology roles, including Chief Security Officer, Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Information Officer, where he modernized technology and implemented Agile software delivery and public cloud options.

Currently, Nick offers fractional vCISO/CIO advisory consulting services and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Bay Area CSO Council. He is the author of “Cyber War…and Peace: Building Digital Trust with History as our Guide” and is a sought-after speaker at conferences. He is well-versed in the regulatory landscape and able to effectively integrate regulatory compliance into his clients’ cyber risk management strategies.

Yaron is one of 22 global Research Fellows for the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). He was the co-chair and lead architect of the Cloud Enterprise Architecture, Contributor to the Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ), and Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).

Yaron serves as an advisory board member for several Security Startups and a venture advisor to several VCs. Additionally, he is the co-founder of the Kansas City CISO forum, B-Sides Kansas City, and is a frequent speaker on Cyber Security Strategy, Architecture, DevSecOps and Cyber Defense.       

Yaron holds a B.A in Social Sciences and Management and is a graduate from the FBI CISO Academy.

Mr. Yigal Unna was appointed by Israel’s Prime Minister as the Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD) in 2018. In this 4 years role, until 2022, Mr. Unna reported directly to Prime Minister and led a team of 350 employees responsible for all aspects of cyber security, including formulating policy and building technological power for operational defense of critical infrastructure. In addition to his work protecting Israel, Mr. Unna forged long-term relationships with many foreign governments, lectured around the world on cyber security and was interviewed numerous times by multiple media outlets.

Prior to the INCD, Mr. Unna served in the Israel Security Agency (ISA), also known as Shin Bet and Shabak, for 23 years. The ISA is Israel’s domestic intelligence service. He retired as the Director of the Cyber and Signal Intelligence Operations Division (military rank equivalent of major general).

Mr. Unna began his career as an officer in the elite Unit 8200 in the Israel Defense Forces. Unit 8200 is responsible for collecting signal intelligence and code decryption.

Overall, Mr. Unna served 33 years in Israel National security – all of them in cyber security and Data warfare.

Mr. Unna received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in History and Management from Tel Aviv University. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.
